We understand that sometimes plans may change — and we’re here to make cancellations and refunds as simple and transparent as possible.
This Refund Policy explains how we handle cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling requests.
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible via email at support@kashmirroute.com or by contacting our support team directly.
Cancellation requests will only be considered valid once confirmed in writing by our team.
Refund eligibility depends on how early the cancellation is made before the trip start date:
15 days or more before the travel date: Eligible for a full refund, minus transaction charges.
7 to 14 days before the travel date: Eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Less than 7 days before the travel date: No refund will be applicable, as bookings and reservations would have already been confirmed.
Note: Specific hotels, transport services, or third-party activities may have their own non-refundable policies. These will be mentioned during booking.
In case of partial cancellation (e.g., reducing the number of travelers or days), the refund will be processed proportionally based on the applicable cancellation rules.
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.
The refund will be credited to the same payment method used during the booking.
In certain cases, banks or payment gateways may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account.
Certain services and fees are non-refundable, including:
Flight tickets, train tickets, and permits issued through third-party vendors
Visa or entry permit fees
Any government taxes or charges
Services or bookings marked as “Non-Refundable” at the time of purchase
If you wish to change your travel dates or reschedule your trip, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
Any change in pricing or service cost due to rescheduling will be communicated before final confirmation.
In rare cases, KashmirRoute may cancel or postpone a trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, weather conditions, political unrest, or safety concerns.
If this occurs, travelers will be offered one of the following options:
A full refund of the booking amount, or
The option to reschedule the trip for a later date at no extra cost.
Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priorities.
KashmirRoute is not responsible for refunds or compensation in case of cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural calamities (floods, landslides, earthquakes, etc.)
Strikes, lockdowns, or travel restrictions
Government actions or civil unrest
